Katy hopes to inspire and enable people to connect with moving in a personal way, encouraging movement to resonate into their own daily lives. Her practice is based in improvisation and movement research, from which Katy has developed a catalogue of solo works. She is currently researching the connection between young children's imaginative attention and improvisation, hoping to create imaginative spaces where artists and children can train together; inspire attention and movement choices.
